ULTRA Intercept – the only round coin capsule in the world with active protection against soiling! The foam ring inside the 3 mm thick capsules is based on the patented Intercept technology, which has been proven for over 30 years. The copper particles in the material permanently bind corrosive gases and as a result neutralize harmful atmospheric substances inside the capsule. This protects the coins from damage. Guaranteed protection for up to 15 years! The effect has been verified by reliable DIN, EN, ISO and ASTM standards, among others. Available for all coins with a diameter of 26 to 41 mm (in millimeter increments). The duration of the effect significantly exceeds the specified 15 years under normal storage conditions! Very adverse conditions (e.g. extremely high air pollution or constant opening of capsules/boxes) can cause the effectiveness of the Intercept materials to be used up earlier than 15 years. When the potential of the material is exhausted, the foil turns a dark gray to green color (not the coins!). When this discoloration occurs, you should replace the product with a new one.
