The Maple Leaf Gold Coin is a product of the Royal Canadian Mint with the world-famous symbol of the country on the obverse. It is minted in 4 sizes: 1 Oz, 1/2 Oz, 1/4 Oz and 1/10 Oz. Maple Leaf gold bullion coins are among the most issued and best-selling bullion gold products. The quality of the mint's products is constantly improving. In 2013 and 2015, an additional security feature was added to the coins in the form of a small maple leaf (in the lower right corner), engraved with laser micro-engraving, with radial lines as a background. Coins in this variant are minted between 2002 and 2023. The year of minting has no effect on the value of the coin.
