The competition will also include recognised purchases of investment metals and payments made through Gold Savings from 1 August 2026, even if they were made before the competition form was published.
The decisive moment is when the relevant payment is credited to the Organiser's account.
3. Competition participants
The competition is open to any natural person over 18 years of age with a delivery address in the territory of the Czech Republic who meets the conditions set out in these rules.
Employees of the Organiser, persons taking part in organising the competition and persons close to them are excluded from the competition.
Each participant may register for the competition only once. Participation is recorded according to the e-mail address, the customer account and other data allowing the participant to be identified unambiguously.
4. Free entry
A participant enters the competition by filling in the competition form on the Golden House website.
For duly filling in and submitting the form the participant receives 1 competition point free of charge.
Obtaining this competition point does not require making a purchase, concluding a Gold Savings contract or granting consent to the sending of commercial communications.
Each participant may obtain at most one competition point free of charge.
5. Competition points for purchases
For every full CZK 10,000 that a participant pays to the Organiser for a purchase of investment metals during the competition period, they receive 1 further competition point.
The individual paid purchases of the same participant are added together over the duration of the competition. The competition points are calculated from the total recognised value of the purchases.
The value of purchases does not include the price of shipping, shipment insurance, fees, unpaid orders, cancelled orders or goods whose purchase the customer withdrew from or for which the purchase price was refunded to them.
Points will be awarded only for orders that were duly paid on time.
6. Competition points for Gold Savings
For every full CZK 10,000 paid through Gold Savings during the competition period, the participant receives 2 competition points.
Payments made through Gold Savings are not counted at the same time among ordinary purchases under Article 5 of these rules.
The individual payments of the same participant are added together within the competition period.
Only payments actually credited to the Organiser's account that were not subsequently returned or cancelled are counted in the competition.
7. Record of points
Each competition point represents one separate chance entered into the final draw.
Points will be assigned to individual participants according to the data given during registration, in the customer account, in the order or in the Gold Savings contract.
The participant is responsible for ensuring that the data provided is correct and up to date. The Organiser is not responsible for points not being assigned as a result of different or incorrect contact details being given.
8. Prizes
The following prizes are entered into the competition:
an investment gold bar weighing 10 g,
an investment gold bar weighing 5 g,
an investment gold bar weighing 2 g.
The prizes will consist of Argor-Heraeus investment gold bars with a fineness of at least 999.9/1000.
If a particular bar is not available at the time of handover, the Organiser may replace it with an investment gold bar of another reputable manufacturer of the same weight and of at least the same fineness.
The prize cannot be exchanged for money, nor can a different prize be demanded. One participant may win at most one prize.
9. The draw
The draw of the winners will take place on 1 October 2026.
The draw will be carried out by random selection from all valid competition points in the presence of at least two representatives of the Organiser. A written record will be drawn up of the course of the draw.
The winner of the investment gold bar weighing 10 g will be drawn first, then the winner of the 5 g bar and after that the winner of the 2 g bar.
Once a winner has been drawn, all of their competition points will be removed before the next draw, so that one participant cannot win more than one prize.
The Organiser may at the same time draw substitute winners in case the original winner cannot be contacted or the winner does not meet the conditions of the competition.
10. Contacting the winners
The winners will be contacted by the e-mail address or the telephone number given during registration or purchase, no later than five working days after the draw.
The winner is obliged to respond to the notification of the prize no later than within ten calendar days and to provide the data needed to verify their identity and to hand the prize over.
If the winner cannot be contacted or does not meet the stated conditions, their claim to the prize lapses and the Organiser may approach a substitute winner.
11. Handover of the prize
The prize will be handed over in person at the Golden House showroom or sent as an insured shipment to the winner's address in the territory of the Czech Republic.
The method of handover will be agreed with the winner. The Organiser is entitled to verify the identity and the age of the winner before handing the prize over.
The prize will be handed over no later than 30 days after the winner's data has been confirmed, unless the Organiser and the winner agree otherwise.
Any tax obligations connected with the handover of the prize will be dealt with in accordance with the legal regulations in effect on the day the prize is handed over.
